“ARGHH! HELP! WHERE THE !!$#**!!**#$!! IS IT?”

Welcome Back!

Once again, you can’t find something that you KNOW you downloaded. It’s buried amongst GIGABYTES of chaos.

Want to see a simple solution? Watch these FREE VIDEOS!

It’s in the nature of our lives as internet marketers that we accumulate dozens, hundreds – even thousands of downloads over time. Products we’ve bought, bonuses we’ve been given by the truckload, resell rights packages we’ve acquired on the way… Our store of downloads just grows and grows and grows.

And each of us makes a brave attempt to find ways to stucture this information – but very quickly we find that whatever organizational scheme we come up with, the stuff we want to file away never quite fits.

And so our gigabytes of downloads end up in chaos. The result?

- We can’t find things that we KNOW we’ve got.

We spend hours and hours searching for that eBook, script or tool that we definitely remember downloading months ago. We need it urgently, right now, but can we find it? Can we just!

- We forget 80-95% of what we’ve got.

So we end up buying products that we don’t need. We already have something that fits our need, but we clean don’t remember, and have no way of checking (unless we take a few days off!). So we waste money buying another product.

Even worse – we end up buying the same product twice! That happens more often than you’d think, believe me, I’ve done it a number of times.

So what’s the answer to this? None of us as serious internet marketers wants to spend the time figuring out how to solve this problem. We need to spend our time on productive work.

Fortunately, one of the leading experts in the field of Knowledge Management has done two things to crack this difficult problem.

Firstly, he’s worked out a detailed “taxonomy” of internet marketing. That means, he’s identified all the topics that make up internet marketing, and figured out how they relate to each other.

Secondly, he’s organized these into a Mind Map (the IM Index Mind Map) and used that as a visual interface onto a folder structure for holding all internet marketing downloads.

To understand what I mean, take a look at the videos on this site. I think you’ll enjoy watching them.

This knowledge management expert is called Alex Goodall, and he’s calling himself the “Internet Marketing Knowledge Manager”.

He’s caused quite a stir with this simple, but very powerful idea, and I’m looking forward to seeing where he goes next.

But in the mean time, you’ll get some good ideas about how to organize your downloads by watching his videos.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

2007 Plan, how about you?

I can’t believe that Christmas is over for another year.

It just seens to come and go in a flash. And as I get older, it seems to happen even faster than usual. Still it’s a great time for the kids (although they too are getting older)

So I suppose the thing we do now is to make some New Year’s resolutions and look ahead to the coming year. ;)

I thought it would be a good idea to blog my New Year’s resolutions, just so that there is some sort of permanent record of my thoughts as the new year dawns. That way I can look back and see if I actually stuck to my plans!

This year I going to try and see the following happen:

Spend less time in forums and just meandering around the internet aimlessly.
Make sure I complete one project before I jump into my next one.
Generate a network of Niche Market products – set up my first one here – and offer an affiliate scheme for others to share.
Continue to help others build their lists and online businesses.
Get my offline businesses (Property Management & Technology Consultancy) established.
Focus my web hosting through HostGator.
Finally rid myself of my credit card debt.
Not buy anything I don’t REALLY need.
Stick with John Delavera’s guidance, membership benefits and products.
Increase my productivity through more automation of my online business (John Delavera’s guidance again!)
Spend MORE time with my family and maybe finally shake off my J.O.B.

How about you?

Thanks for a great 2006 – upward and onwards to 2007! :D

It must be getting close to Christmas!

There a few really good give away sites up and running at the moment.

Mark Hendricks has probably one of the best Christmas give aways on the planet right now.

We’re up to day seven with lots more to come. To get access to all of his free gifts, just register here:

http://www.gordon-sheppard.com/recommends/12Days

Mark also has a fantastic set of recordings where he chairs a no holds barred, anything goes question and answer session on any internet marketing topic. It’s one not to miss, because he’s probably answered the very question that is in your head right now.

I’ve managed to get Mark to release 6 of these recording in MP3 format that you can download and listen to at anytime. They are VERY VERY useful! You can get then here:

John Delavera is just about to switch on his Santa Deal at 9am N.Y. time.

John is famous for his “mad scientist” approach to Internet Marketing. He has been my guiding light in my efforts on line for some time now and his products and services are just so innovative and “different”. Santa Deal Time won’t be a free give away, but even so, wait till you see what he has in store. It’s still well worth checking out, even if it’s just to watch a master marketer in action :

Talking of John’s services and ideas, I got this one passed to me for free from one of his Turbo Membership members – and this one works. I’ve seen a steady trickle of sales coming in from this one idea that I’ve adopted on my autoresponder. I’m more than happy to pass this on to you. In fact I’ve now added this to my own give away site at http://www.NewToMarketingOnline.com you can just download the short ebook by using this link:

I managed to get my first Adsense Firesale 3 site up and running yesterday. (Adsense Firesale 3 is now closed) and you can see the result using the next link. As you will see it’s a site on very individual topic away from internet marketing. Check out the links at the left hand side of the landing page and you will see how deep this site is. The great news is it’s already been indexed by Google and the visitors are starting to arrive. I’m really hopeful that this site will generat about $3-$5 from adsense every day for me eventually. This doesn’t sound much, but the Firesale gave me another 3 ready made sites plus all the tools I need to build my own as many time over as I like. So my target will be to get 100 of these thing up online as soon as possible.

http://www.Your-Adventure-Travels.com

You can still see how these sites are actually built from scratch. Right from the Domain Name registration through to the the first 100 visitors landing on the site and beyond to the first Adsense clicks and sales being generated. It’s quite an amazing revelation and well worth watching.

Jean Philippe Schoeffel, the man behind the Adsense Firesale 3 has recorded these videos as “live takes” so that you can see what and how he does it. Check this link for more information:

Phew! Almost done!

Finally, I have a great gift for you today. If you’d prefer the audio or (even better) video instructions for “how to” earn online, then there is a great site packed with downloads, audio AND video on a multitude of subjects.

The original sales page and pricing is still live here :

http://www.gordon-sheppard.com/recommends/LTEON

It is $67 to join the site as a one off payment and that represents great value for money, but…

I’ve managed to squeeze a better deal for you. This is just my way of saying “thanks” for sticking with me and buying by products along the way. I can’t get the price any better than this for you:

http://www.gordon-sheppard.com/recommends/FreeLTEON

Well, that’s it for today.

I’m working on another special for another site where you will benefit from a free membership and should have the registration page ready for you in the next few days. The original site is here so that you can see what you will be getting:

http://www.gordon-sheppard.com/recommends/SYT

Make sure that you have subscribed to my newsletter using the form on the right hand side and watch out for my email in a couple of days with the gifted membership ;)
