List building is crucial to your online success as an internet markateer. Put simply, with out a list of prospects to market your services to - your internet business dies.

Period.

There is lots and lots of advice, courses, videos, services and ebooks based around list building -it’s a big topic in internet marketing circles. But most of these cost money to get involved with. And if you are still in the process of building that list, money can be tight as you spend it on your hosting or your autoresponder fees.

One of the ways I regularly add in new subscribers to my lists is by finding out where the next big giveaway event is and join as a contributor.

By contributing something useful to the event, I usually have a number of new subscribers in my autoresponder within a few days. On one occassion, I can remember about 250 being added in around 24 hrs!

The good news is that giveaway events are becoming more common place these days. I can remember that not so long ago there were only two big giveaways a year, and both were at Christmas - and becoming a contributor was quite demanding - so usually only the established marketers could really make use of them.

Thankfully, things have changed somewhat, and now it’s a lot easier for you and I to contribute and in return have new subscribers to our lists in reasonable numbers.
