I was reading a really great article that Jonathan Leger had posted over on his blog regarding the effect of just having a blog running and how it in itself attracts traffic and can generate a good page rank on the search engines all by itself.
Here’s a little excerpt:
“Early last week, though, I was testing a tool I’m creating that helps you write and post blog posts to Wordpress blogs super fast. I decided to setup a blog on the site that lost its rankings, just to test it out. I made a bunch of blog posts (they were post-dated so they would show up slowly over time), and sat back to see what would happen.
To my surprise, over the weekend my site jumped back onto page one for its rankings. I hadn’t touched that site in months, and now it’s ranking better than it ever was — at #4 for 3 great sets of keywords. This, of course, has spiked my AdSense earnings for the site.”
Now, I really hope you are blogging, and adding content to your site or sites regularly. As Jonathan mentions, search engines love blogs.
Blogs are an easy platform to quickly get set up (for free) and generate incoming traffic for and they just nust be part of your internet marketing strategy.
However, blogs can also be a pain. Especially if you have created a niche blog with good intent.
First there is the problem of content itself. How do you keep coming up with relevant posts on the subject of your niche?
Well, you can use PLR articles. Just make sure that you rewrite them to avoid any duplicate content penalties.
But even if you have a plentiful supply of articles to post, you’ve still got to spend time posting them!
And even once you have posted them, you need to get the word out about your post, and pinging Google just isn’t enough to promote your new posts. You really do gain great benefits from involving the Social Networks (but don’t go mad and post to them all in one go - you’ll get banned!)
And when you are running short of articles, your site isn’t growing, so pulling in relevant content from other sources and having them post onto your blog can help.
All of this takes time and dedication to your blog - but the results can be spectacular.
Today I came across a set of Wordpress Plugins that will help you with the regular posting, tagging, notifying of social networks and even automatic posting of relevant content onto your blog.
I’m now using them on this blog.
If you have realised that you must blog, but are stuggling with the time to post and manage that blog, then these plugins could be just what you’ve been looking for.
If you run several niche blogs, then as long as they are on the Wordpress platform, then these plugins are an essential investment.

Great post, I have other articles link to my blog.
I have a few questions also
How often should you post on social networks?
and which ones are the best?
Jeffs last blog post..Its Giveaway Mania - 3 HUGE giveaways just opened!
Gordon, a fantastic post. I own a site that sells PLR articles and I wish my members would read this post. They keep contacting me wanting unique articles for their blogs but can’t understand why it is important to re-write PLR article.
Please keep writing informative posts like this.

Another good post, Gordon, but, once, again aimed at the hight educated and successful marketers only.
I have tousands of PLR article - hundreds re-writtn, but they can never make me a penny.
Why?
because I don’t have all the university degrees required to Use Wordpress.
I have ‘fantastic-ed’ it to two of my websites.
Sadly, once it is installed by Fantastico, there is absolutely nothing more that you can do with it unless you are a very highly qualified programmer.
It’s not been touched for over a year and can’t be touched until I can afford someone to run it for me.
Nobody unqualified can install anything, let alone themes, whatever they are.
I am not an IT graduate, and never will be.
Result - I will never be able to have a blog. QED
You are right Clive.I have too thousands of PLR articles and I too cannot make a penny out of it since there really no good software which really makes/spins them off into unique articles even though i have tried unique content generator
Hope you could provide us newbies with some really good article rewriter or unique contents for blogging
Hi Atul
Article spinners are still hard work.
I recently discovered WordFlood which works quite well, although it is only one article at a time. Watch the demo movie over at that site and you will see what I mean. 14 day trial also.
