I could never do this! I’d just be too damn scared…

My sister is going to jump out of an aeroplane and skydive to earth with a friend of hers (John) who is raising money for Voluntary Services Overseas. This charity raises funds to send skilled workers to developing countries. VSO’s unique approach to international development is founded on volunteers, working together and with local communities to fight poverty and achieve lasting change.

If you can find it in your heart to donate even just one dollar, you will help them on their way to achieving what is a very modest target of £300 ($600 USD)

Today I got my copy of [John Delavera's->http://www.johndelavera.com/blog/?aff_id=29605] latest "Royal Jelly" report and it’s very concise but extremly useful for those of you who regularly ask how can I make the most from my affiliate links and ebook downloads. In fact it’s a must read.

It’s well worth the $7 he should be charging.

But the good news is, if you have arrived at my blog, you are already a subscriber of mine and you can have this superb report for free

Simply click here to read it online (PDF) or download a zipped version by clicking on this link.

This is the second report in a series to come from John and if you missed the first one, you can download it through my free collection of internet marketin tools over at New To Marketing Online

A Great Sports Weekend And The Easy Site Building Continues

I’ve had a week where I’ve not been anywhere near my internet marketing websites and programs. Working away from home is a complete pain, but it’s the part of my "real job" that I have to put up with all the time. This coming week is also going to see me away from home, so internet access will be patchy to say the least. I should still be able to get to the support ticket system if you need some help, but I’m not planning any big campaigns or releases for a few a little while. If there is one motivating factor that drives me on in my quest to generate a steady income from marketing online, it’s the fact that I could give up my main job and all that travelling and time away from home. My lads are already teenagers and sometimes I feel like I haven’t really been there while they have been growing up. I feel like an absent dad at times.

This weekend has been a great sports weekend though. I watched Scotland beat Lithuania 3 -1 in the Euro Qualifiers. Nice to see Scotland gaining some respect again in the world of football (soccer). England did well too on Saturday, in soccer, rugby and cricket! And I’ve just watched Lewis Hamilton make a seriously brave and professional passing move in the Monza F1 Grande Prix to take second place and keep his challenge for the championship alive.

I have taken some time out around my computer to very quickly create another niche site using the Article Site Power Kit. This time the subject matter is Comic Books, another highly popular and much sought after niche with a huge online audience. Again, I just need to get some of that traffic to the site and perhaps a few Adsense clicks, Amazon sales or Clickbank sales will happen for me.

The site I created with the Article Site Power Kit can be seen by clicking here

I think it’s a five minutes well spent don’t you? Now you can do the same in under 5 mins with the Article Site Power Kit

I’ve also now sorted out my two kids’ computers using the PC Secret Formula and boy are we all delighted with the results. I haven’t had any "Dad – the pc has frozen again" calls from upstairs since I spent the hour it took to apply the formula. If you’ve got a computer that’s sluggish – get this, it’s only $9.97 (money WELL spent)!

The changes continue

In my previous post I outlined my plan to move things around on my hosting accounts and even where my domain names are registered.

So far, I’ve hade to run throught the domain transfer procedure twice. It’s supposed to be simple and automatic, but there are a few things that need to be set up before the transfer can happen.

I’m changing from GoDaddy to Name Cheap. The first thing you need to do is to supply Name Cheap with something called an EPP. You get this from GoDaddy by logging ito your GoDaddy account, selecting your account and clicking on the link at the bottom left marked :

Authorization Code:   Send by Email

You can then use the code that is sent to you within the Name Cheap control panel.

You also have to remember to Unlock the domain at GoDaddy as well as cancel and Private Subscriptions you have at GoDaddy before your transfer will go through!

On the business of moving hosts, it’s just as tricky. But I have found a super tool that lets you manage your multiple Web Hosting Managers from a single desktop application. It’s pretty new on the market, but it been a godsend for me and my challenge of changing and creating my new hosting plans in bulk.

If you want to see the application I’ve been using with great success, check it out here : Watch This Video

I think I’ll be at this for a few more days yet!
