It’s Not Just Me Then

Santa Deal Time

Sometimes I think it’s just me that gets excited when John Delavera runs an on line event. Sometimes it feels very lonely and I think I’m wasting my time. But, I have to be honest, I’ve been a student of John’s for almost a couple of years now, and he has never given up on me :)

His service and quality of the solutions he provides are second to none.

And occasionally, when he does get it wrong – he quite simply refunds any monies that you may have paid him without even prompting. An example of this recently was a new service he planned to launch that was to cost $27 a month. I duly joined and paid two months subscriptions, however for whatever reason the project did not get off the ground. I got my $54 refunded without even asking for it, with a personal apology from John on the lack of delivery on his part.

As we say here in Scotland, the guy is a legend :D

Now as I was saying, I thought it was just me that felt this way, but clearly not. He does have an army of very keen followers, all who have been touched in some way by the way John conducts himself with his sudents, customers and affiliates.

One such person among many is Albert Hallado

With the launch of John’s 2008 Santa Deal Time has come a genuine, from the heart post on Albert’s blog (always a good read at the best of times) where he point out why he is promoting Santa Deal Time – although he rarely promotes launches.

I think it’s pretty obvious how Albert has been touched by the Delaverian magic, even when he was at his lowest point only a few short years ago, and how he is now continuing to build his own universe, without forgetting who actually managed to start him properly on his journey.

Today seem the opening of John’s Santa Deal Time for 2008 (it does only run for a week) and if like Albert you can see real value that John Delavera can bring to your internet marketing efforts, then you should not hesitate – get involved!

There are many cool “Christmas Give Away Events” running right now – but Santa Deal Time is NOT a give away, it’s quite simply something that will give you brand new, fresh, cutting edge Internet Marketing tools in the palm of your hand ready for your big push into 2009. The giveaways tend to be full of older products, and you need to spend a LONG TIME signing up to the many opt in subscriptions (and time in my book is money – so they are not really free), and then download and store all of the free versions of everything – many of which I can guarantee you will never look at again (trust me I’ve been there).

Santa Deal Time is a simple trade – it will cost you some money (less if you get there quick – now opens at 10am EST 7th Dec 2008) but you get the cutting edge stuff that you will see used against you in 2009 – so choose wisely between this and the giveaways  ;)

Do This To Build Your List Fast

One of THE major differences you can make to your marketing efforts is to build a BIG list. win their trust and many will become customers – I can assure you that this is happening to me and it will happen to you if you persist.

But where on earth do you start?

Traffic exchanges? They do work but, be prepared to go nuts staring at other people’s offers, just to get your offer out there – painful.

Safe Lists? Again – they can work, but think about what YOU do with the incoming messages from these services – do you read EVERY one and click all the links and actually go buy something…?

One of best methods to building a BIG list FAST is to take part in a Give Away Event.

No I don’t mean signing up and downloading lots of free gifts and opting into everyone else’s list, I mean YOU OFFERING a gift in return for new subscribers.

If you can set up a squeeze page (if not use this ) and have a product you have rights to give away ( if not try here ) then you are ready to go.

Now all you need is a give away event :)

There has been an awful lot of these recently, but many of them have become difficult for us “junior” marketers to qualify as contributors. So here is a super opportunity to kick start your subscriber list.

Agnes Bissmann has just released her first Giveaway event, called The Newbie Giveaway.

And you’re invited to be part of the event as a “first-in” JV Partner.

Just sign up here

Now as the name suggests, we’re helping Newbie Marketers to kick off their online career through this event.

So you’ll need to give away some products or services that they can really use.

This is said to be a big event in the making, so dig in while the activity is hot and get yourself placed for this event.

See you in there!

Internet Giveaways – I Can’t Keep Up

Almost every few days now, I’m finding a new giveaway event on the internet. Some are better advertised than others, some I get an automatic invite to, some I’m allowed to contribute to.

All in all, finding, signing up for, and notifying others of these events has become a really time consuming job, so I was delighted when one of my subscribers invited me to take a look at The Giveaway Announcer.

The Giveaway Announcer is a superb way of not only managing your giveaway campaigns, but it also help promote the events to others. I like the look of it so much I jumped at the chance to buy the Pro version, and it has been very easy to set up.

So easy that I quickly registered a domain name and have now launched the site Giveaway-Alert.com.

This is where I am going to list all the giveaway events I’m invited into, and if you visit the site, you can see the list of current events available.

You can also if you wish sign up to the news alert that this site runs automatically on my behalf.
