In my effort to begin to produce products, today I have released the first of many I intend to make available to my subscribers and readers.

Aimed firmly at the newer marketer, this brand new publication will help anyone who is new to the internet marketing business, and will actually cut across the nonsense that is on offer. You know, the “get rich quick” rubbish that litters out email in boxes every day.

Newbie Profits In 7 Easy Steps

If you are sick of those get rich quick schemes that actually deliver nothing, then you will probably find that this could be the most important document you read this year.

I know how it feels to worry that you will never be a successful Internet marketer—that you will slave away hours each day on your computer, spend thousands of dollars on reports, ebooks, and software… and ultimately reap no return on your large investment.

I also know how it feels to wonder whether you will one day completely fail, lose the very shirt off your back, and return to your day job with nothing to show for all that time, effort, and money.

And worst of all, I know how it feels to think that one day you might have to admit it to your family—to your parents, to your spouse, to your friends—that you were completely wrong and that they were right; that you couldn’t really make money online and that you had simply been tricked by a bunch of slick marketers.

I know how all of that feels. I know because I have experienced it myself.

It’s time to let that “wind of change” blow…

A Wind Of Change Is Blowing

I haven’t had much to say on my blog for a few days but I can assure you I’ve been busy working away towards my vision of becoming established on line in my own business.

Recently, you may have been aware that I was promoting the Turbo Big Bang event. I’m not sure if you saw the event or even bought the package, but to me it was a real eye opener.

Promoting a $1000 product on line is hard work, and although I did hit Google’s number one spot for a few days before the event, I have to be honest with you and report no sales. :(

However, I did actually buy the package and although I thought I was going to get most excited about ContePass, since I’m a self confessed tech junkie, I have to admit that I’ve found The Delaverian Marketing Method (TDMM) to be where my focus has been.

In fact, the TDMM is the main reason I haven’t been here posting on my blog recently. I’ve been reading and re-reading the contents.

Under the terms of the licence I cannot expose any of the content here, but needless to say, it has had a profound effect on me and on my thinking.

What has become abundantly clear to me is that I need to start to up my game plan. I also need to really begin to commit to creating my own products, and lots of them.

This is going to take a giant leap in faith on my part as product creation quite simply costs money to do correctly. That means I need to be brave enough to make the necessary investment.

I know from some success that I’ve had with my Monthly PLR site, that running your own membership site like that is time consuming and can be hard work, but, for sure, the rewards are better than just promoting someone else’s product.

Don’t get me wrong, promoting someone else’s product is a great way to get started in internet marketing, but I’m beginning to think that these promotional campaigns need to be something that is a suppliment to my main business activities.

So, there is a wind of change blowing through me at the moment, and I am about to take action.

How about you?

Have you started to take action yet?

Or are you still looking for that elusive “earn $100,000 over night miracle product”?

If you are in the traffic exchanges or safelists still trying to promote all those amazing “get rich here” programs, and are still not really seeing any commissions or sales coming your way, then maybe a wind of change needs to blow your way also.

Personally, I’ve used traffic exchanges and safelists, but not to “sell” anything. Don’t think for a moment you will generate sales directly from those two. But you may be able to generate a subscriber or two to your newsletter.

You are running a newsletter right?

You are communicating with your subscribers regularly right?

Your are building some sort of relationship there, aren’t you?

It’s only after you have a relationship that you can suggest a tip or a product and get results.

All too often I do get support tickets or emails either asking “how do I get started?” or “internet marketing sucks, it doesn’t work, it’s a big lie”.

In answer to both of these comments, I’d say, remember that “people buy from people” and, if you are starting out, you need to engage with your people. If you are fed up because you are not generating sales or commissions, again, you need to engage with your people. If you really feel that internet marketing sucks, it’s a big lie or it doesn’t work, then maybe it’s because you are not engaging with your people.

As I said before, placing an advertisement in a safelist or traffic exchange will not directly get you sales. You won’t engage with your people there. They are just like you, they are just looking to click away onto the next message or website to boost their points in those systems.

By all means use safelists and traffic exchanges, but only use “squeeze pages” there. Make an irresistible offer and have new people opt into your newsletter. From then on, you can engage with them, treat them well and generate your sales and commissions.

My plan is set, my wind of change is blowing. I’m going to become a product producer.

My questions to you are: Do you have a plan? Are you actioning that plan? What help do you need?

If you’d like more information on getting started, squeeze pages, forming a plan or anything else please let me know by leaving a comment.

By asking me the questions, you may even help me become a product producer!
